Attending a traditional college or university is not something everyone wants to do or can do. If that option is not for you there are still others to consider. Here are a few to think about.
Going Into The Military - There are many careers in the military that can give you the training and skills for a decent career after the military. You may also be able to earn money to help pay for college later.
Community College - Even if you missed the boat on getting accepted into a four year University or College you may still be able to sign up for community college classes.
Trade Schools - Depending on the type of career you are looking at you may be able to complete a training or degree program from a trade school. These programs may only be a few months or maybe a few years long. Also depending on the school and career field new programs may be starting on a regular basis.
Apprentice Options - If you are interested in a skill labor or blue collar career there may be an opportunity to become an apprentice. You will most likely need to contact employers to find out if they offer any apprenticeships or training programs.
If you just graduated or will be graduating from high school but you missed the boat on applying to a traditional college you do still have options. Maybe a traditional college is not for you and that is OK. You still have options buy you should act quickly so as not to let another year pass.
