CCMS has always been known to give students a good serving of academics and practical work until they become full-fledged morgue attendants or morticians. The college provides basic academic subjects and physical education courses during the first year, then moves on to the fine points of cleaning and dressing corpses during the latter years. Students will also be taught how to properly cremate and present dead bodies in coffins.
Every licensed mortician has underwent years of practice and absorbing theories before getting to where they currently are. CCMS applies the same philosophy as they give a good number of written and practical exams. Students will need to read and understand their notes and textbooks if they want to pass the course's written and final exams. As for the practical exams, hours of daily practice is required before any mortician aspirant gets the hang of cleaning cadavers and passing the final practical exams.
Like any other colleges in Cincinnati, CCMS is as a good training ground for academics as well as physical fitness. The coed school has sporting events for both male and female students during Intramurals like bowling, basketball, football and softball. For prospective students, CCMS is located along West North Bend Road. The school also has a website that students can check out for more information.
