The Kansas City Chiefs have had a great deal of accomplishments and even though they have not yet won a conference championship they have had several successes when it comes to division championships. They have earned two championships under the American football league West division (1962 and 1966) and they have been four-time champion of the AFC West division (1971, 1993, 1995, 1997 and 2003). They have also been the AFL champions in three different occasions (1962, 1966, 1969) one of which can be considered an AFL-NFL Super Bowl championship (1969)

According to the head coach this was an unexpected event and they obviously hate it when this happens to a first round draft but the team hopes are high that Dorsey will be coming back sooner rather than later. Luckily, the MRI showed no other damage to Dorsey's knee that may affect his recovery time and performance.

Regardless of Dorsey's injury to 2008 season is expected to be a great one for the Kansas City Chiefs who have several great players and the ambition to take the team to a whole new level.
