The players who regularly play roulette in casinos are familiar with two main types of bets used in roulette. One is the inside bets and second is outside bets. Straight bet - This is the one of the simplest and most direct bet you can play in roulette. In this bet you have to just choose one the 37 numbers. This bet pays you higher than other bets.
Split bet – you can also place a single bet on two different numbers if numbers are beside each other on the table layout. You can place your token on line that divides two numbers. This bet pays 17 to 1 if either number is spun on the wheel.
Street bet - This is a bet is similar to the split except this time you are wagering on three adjacent numbers at the same time This bet pays off a handsome 11 to 1.
Corner bet – The corner bet allows player to bet on four adjoining numbers. To do this you place your chips at the interstice where four numbers meet. If any of the four numbers come up after the spin, you are paid 8 to 1.
Square bet - To make this bet place your chips at the intersection of 0 and 3 on the corner. You can win if any of 0, 1, 2, or 3 is hit. This bet is pays off at 8 to 1.
