In the game of blackjack all the picture card i.e. king, queen and jack has value 10 and ace card value is either 1 or 11. The remaining card has their face values as printed on them. This game is popularly known as 21 because to win this game the player has to beat the casino dealer by getting card face value total up to 21. The hand with highest total but not above the 21 wins the game. You will win if your cards total a blackjack and are given your prize money in the ratio of 3:2. If both dealer and player has same count the game is draw.
When the dealer gets a blackjack and an Ace, you will win 2:1 on your assurance money. It has been located in the insurance space. If the casino dealer does not have a blackjack, you lose assurance money. In case you are closer to the blackjack but not having the blackjack, you win will constant money.
If both player and dealer get blackjack while playing the blackjack game then it is called stand off and you will win your initial bet and 2 to 1 on your insurance money. If your first two cards have total of 9, 10 or 11 then you can double your initial bet but you can draw only one card. If your first two cards are pair then you can break up them and place the same amount of bet on the other hand. When you get a pair of Aces, you can split them but can draw only one card for each. If you get a 10, a picture card, or both Aces they are considered to be adding up to 21 and you are rewarded even. If the dealer is out of action then all the players win and are paid 1 to 1.
Many casinos permit you to play more than 13 bets, which are based on the total of player’s first two cards including an Ace whose value is considered as 1. More than 13 bets win when the player has 14 or more card total and fewer than 13 wins if the total card count is 12 or less. A player loses for an exact total of 13.
