The dealer gets one card face up and the other face down. The player must either stay with the cards that they initially received, or they must ask for another card. Once all players are satisfied with their hand and have not gone over twenty one, the dealer flips the face down card to reveal their hand. If the dealer gets a total of sixteen or less, then the dealer has to flip another card for a chance closer to twenty one. If the player's two cards add up to be twenty one, then they automatically win. If the player gets an automatic blackjack, then he or she gets one and a half time the wager placed. However, if the opponent ties the dealer, the player gets their wager back. If the player gets a higher score than the dealer without going over twenty one, then the player wins the amount equal to their bet. Like other card games, blackjack is sometimes played with other betting options. Casinos and even casual games of blackjack can be played with different betting options. Some different betting options include Surrender, Early Surrender, and Soft hand. Surrender is where the player can give up their hand and lose half of the wager or bet. Early surrender allows the player to surrender before the dealer checks for a blackjack. A soft hand is a hand that includes an ace.
