Two of these better known websites are: www.scriptlance.com and www.guru.com. Both of these offer a variety of projects for a freelancer to choose to do, with consideration of their own personal skills in performing the work. Both sites offer just about everything from computer programming, website design to writing projects of editing, translation, proofreading for just about any writing project imaginable. But the new kid on the internet block and promises to be a sensation all over the web world is: www.mvpfreelance.com, this replaces the name of www.ulance2.com with new management and fee structure that is much lower in price for both buyers and freelancers. It is a win-win situation with this new website for freelancers and the buyers of a freelancer’s services. Freelancers must still bid on projects of course, and should ideally have samples of previous work to submit to the prospective buyer, then it is up to the buyer to decide which freelancer that they wish to work with, based largely upon the samples submitted. Once agreement is reached between the buyer and freelancer, the buyer escrows payment to www.mvpfreelance.com and this is also true of the other sites mentioned in this article. This is done for the protection of both buyer and freelancer.
Once the buyer is satisfied that the work was done to their specifications, then the buyer notifies customer service to disburse payment to the freelancer as they are satisfied completely with the work performed. Then customer service notifies the freelancer that the work was satisfactory and payment will be released to the payment reception method that the freelancer has chosen to be paid through. The buyer is happy and so is the freelancer. Then, the freelancer begins to look for a new project to bid on and the process starts all over again. Pretty simple process, is it not? Anyone can freelance for a living, it matters not where you live, your age, and all that is required is willingness to succeed and live the good life outside of the rat race and the daily grind of the commute left behind for good. It is up to you to decide if this kind of work suits you. Try it out and see if this is not a smarter way to work, rather than settling for the crumbs your current employer is giving you now, and giving up the dictates of when you may have your vacation or receive a raise for all your hard work during the year. Work on this part time to start, and then work up until you can comfortably support your lifestyle on your freelance work alone, once that goal is accomplished, then it is time to tell your boss, goodbye for good.
