Lots of praise and treats are important to make sure that your Boston Terrier potty training goes well. A good way to facilitate the Boston Terrier training is to use a specific treat that your dog loves for Boston Terrier training. When your puppy has successfully gone in the garden or whatever area then you should praise the dog and reward it with a treat that is only used for potty training.
Go through the method you are using with the whole family. Even little ones need to be involved in the process. Make sure that everyone is aware of the commands you are using and that everyone uses the same command. Otherwise you will have one very confused pup on your hands. Your puppy will also realize the importance of its training if everyone is constantly making sure that it goes outside. The family's cooperation will also make this part of Boston Terrier training much easier.
Remember that Boston Terrier potty training takes time. A month is not enough for your Boston Terrier to be perfectly trained. If your puppy is only a few weeks old then it is still very young and it may be quite a while before it is properly trained.
Make sure your doggy crate has toys and bedding in it, everything possible to make it feel like home for your dog. There will be a few occasions when your dog has accidents in the crate. Don't be discouraged, just clean out the crate and perhaps check more regularly on your puppy. Remember that if your puppy starts to squat or sniff around then it is likely to have one of those accidents. So take it quickly to the place you want it to go.
One of the things you can do to help with the training is to look out for the tell tale signs that a dog needs to go potty. If your puppy is squatting or seems to be sniffing around very diligently then it is about to go.
This area should not be isolated yet at the same time it should be an area of the house that is easy to clean up. You will need maybe a four or five months before you see consistent results. Before this you can expect smooth sailing in the Boston Terrier potty training to be interrupted by an accident. Don't harshly punish your Boston for this, instead treat it as a minor setback and move on.
